The Gladstone Basketball Association website project focused on delivering a modern, user-friendly digital platform tailored to the needs of a growing community sporting organisation. JMDigital worked closely with GABA to create a centralised online presence that improves communication, enhances accessibility for members and families, and presents the Association with a professional and future-ready digital identity.
Goals
Centralise Communication for Members and Families
A core objective of the project was to provide GABA with a single, authoritative digital platform for players, parents, coaches, and officials. Prior to the project, information was dispersed across social media and informal channels. The website was designed to consolidate registrations, fixtures, competition details, and announcements into one clear and reliable source.
Design for Accessibility Across All Age Groups
Given the wide demographic of GABA’s audience, the website needed to be intuitive and accessible for users of all ages and technical abilities. The site structure prioritises clarity, simple navigation, and mobile responsiveness to ensure ease of use for junior families, volunteers, and administrators alike.
Establish a Professional and Scalable Digital Presence
The project aimed to elevate GABA’s online identity to better reflect the Association’s growth and professionalism. The website was built with scalability in mind, enabling future expansion into sponsorship visibility, online forms, and additional integrations without requiring a complete redesign.
